Dennebos aims wholeheartedly towards a sustainable exploitation in the forest- and timbersector. We see it as our assignment to responsibly and sincerely handle people and environment. We are aware that developments in environment and climate, as well as the depletion of natural resources, urges us to adopt a different behaviour. We, management and staff, want to personally contribute to the efficient and responsible exploitation of an important natural resource: Tropical Timber.

Our Surinamese forests are an inexaustible source of timber, but this will only continue to be so if we as humankind, manage these forests responsibly. We also recognize that Surinamese forests play an important role as home for native tribes, plants and animals, and that the forest forms a self regulating ecosystem. Dennebos Suriname LLC is convinced that the sustainable exploitation of timbersources, is a source of inspiration, not only to ourselves, but also to our customers. We are convinced that responsible practices for tree cutting and extraction of carefully selected trees, form a solution to the global deforestation question.
